How do the 4-way stretch boardshorts fit compared to other pairs of CIRE's I already own?
The pattern and fit is exactly the same as our other boardshorts. Since these are 4-way stretch we have added a stretch hem to the leg openings to ensure maximum mobility. On the flex fly we removed the snaps and added 2 pieces of velcro in their place. Due to the flex in the stretch fabric, the snaps don't hold up on the fly, therefore we replaced them with 2 pieces of velcro.
There is a lot of hype around about your 4 way stretch boardshorts being great for crossfit? Is that true?
Yes, the stretch gives you unlimited mobility in your movements. No matter what direction you are moving your body, the boardshorts will go with you. The Boxed Dobby minimizes skin contact which also reduces any potential for rashes. Since the stretch fabric is quick dry any moisture on the boardshorts is gone in a matter of minutes.
